Update on signals
Update: Currently working on the signals – next up are some dummy signals (shunting signals) to go with this beautiful gantry.

Station Update: Single-Track Lines and Terminus Operation
Update: The two red boxes highlight an essential gameplay feature: the station is now a terminus with two incoming single-track lines. These token machines represent communication with neighbouring signal boxes and are key to ensuring safe operation of the line.

Detailing the Station: A Turning Point
Update: At first, I dreaded the idea of tackling the intricate detailing of the station area, so I deliberately kept it out of sight. But I’m glad I changed my mind — it’s coming together far better than I ever imagined it would!
Landscape has gained some colour
Update #7 It’s been a while since the last update, but the landscape has gained some colour! The colours look a bit dull tho, but I have different solutions in mind.

Rediscovering My Passion for Game Development
So I’ve been gone for a while and pretty much been busy working, but I regained my passion for game development. I adjusted the things I didn’t like and focused a lot on the electrical components, relay room, contacts, fuses, etc.

Dream job
Well it has been a while since the last update, and here is the reason. A month ago, I Applied to be a train driver at the danish company DSB, yes I live in Denmark. Well, I had my job interview today, and I got my dream job at the age of 21. This will mean I can’t spend as much time working on the game, but my mission is still to complete it.

Game sound
Not much to update you on today. Only the fact that I’m currently working on implementing sound into the game.
Updates on The Class 119
Update #6 The Class 119 has been updated, bringing it closer to the real deal! Primarily the bogies have been altered after I found some blueprints to work off.

Signal System Update
Update: Trains are now synced up with the diagram in the signal box, and they also calculate the required amount of braking application needed to come to a stop before a red signal. If full service brake application isn’t enough, the emergency brake will be activated, bringing the train to a complete stop.

Two Versions in Development
To clarify things a bit more my original idea of the game was a casual story-driven game, but it seems like many of you were expecting it to be a simulator. I’m thinking of making two versions of the game now, the original idea of the game for the casual player and then a full-on simulation. But for now, I’m working on the original version which will be downscaled when it comes down to realism and correctness.

First update
I have been developing this game for about 8 months and what you see is how far I have come. I’m working towards having a playable demo within a couple of months. The final game will consist of different maps and trains, but the demo map is heavily inspired by Tanyard bay. The train is a Class 119 and don’t worry the game will get colours at a later date.
